Calatorao

Calatorao is a distinctive, fine-grained limestone that has been mined for more than 2000 years in world-famous quarries in Zaragoza, Spain.

An ancient stone with a long history of use throughout the Iberian Peninsula, for Baroque churches and urban marketplaces, composed of highly polished floor coverings and interior wall coverings. Neolith has faithfully recreated the brilliant golden veining of the Calatarao and the intense dark gray color that characterizes the stone.

It was one of the favorite stones of the famous Spanish sculptor Juan de Ávalos He often used it for his powerful sculptures.

Calatorao has a timeless appeal and gives every commercial or residential space a touch of Aragonese finesse.
